Wrati Goes Live: An India-Built Relationship Platform for Every Generation
Wrati is now live on the web across India. Built in Delhi and backed by Mindware, it is designed for people of every age looking for something real — not another swipe.
NEW DELHI, 10 August 2026 — Wrati today announced the public launch of its relationship platform, now live and fully operational on desktop and mobile web browsers across India. Native applications for Android and iOS are scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Wrati is built in India, for India. Where much of the category has optimised for volume — more profiles, more swipes, more time in the app — Wrati has been designed around a simpler idea: that people of every age deserve a place to meet that treats them, and their time, seriously.
Built for every generation, not just one
Most platforms are designed for a single demographic and expect everyone else to adapt. Wrati is deliberately built for the full spread of Indian life — from Gen Z meeting their first serious partner, to people in their thirties and forties seeking marriage, to those beginning again later in life. The product carries a stated intention on every profile, so people looking for very different things are not competing for the same attention.
Backed by thirty years of engineering
Wrati is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mindware, which has spent three decades in IT-enabled services. That inheritance shows in the parts of the product people do not see: geospatial discovery, semantic matching, AI-assisted content safety, verified profiles and privacy controls built in at the design stage rather than bolted on later.
“We are not asking Indians to adapt to a product designed somewhere else. Wrati is built here, by people who understand what a serious introduction means in an Indian family — and it is engineered to the same standard as the enterprise work Mindware has delivered for thirty years.” — Gulshan Marwah, Wrati
Safety is a feature, not a policy page
Live at launch
- Automated screening of images and messages before they reach anyone
- Profile verification, so a face can be matched to the person using it
- Granular privacy controls over messaging, read receipts and visibility
- A named Grievance Officer, reachable by phone and WhatsApp
- Private media that cannot be reached without an authorised, expiring link
Wrati is candid that no system catches everything. Automated safety tools reduce harm rather than eliminating it, and every enforcement decision on the platform is reviewable by a person.
What comes next
Android and iOS applications are in active development and are expected in the fourth quarter of 2026. Wrati's longer-term roadmap includes regional infrastructure and privacy controls intended to support international expansion.
